(MVP) Synthetix: A Tool for Active Knowledge Synthesis

Synthetix is an active learning interface designed for knowledge workers struggling with information overload. It aims to solve the gap between passive knowledge capture and active knowledge utilization by forcing users to synthesize captured articles (the counterintuitive principle of [_positive friction_](https://www.interaction-design.org/literature/article/positive-friction-how-you-can-use-it-to-create-better-experiences) and facilitating active recall of takeaways via spaced repetition.

Core hypothesis: retention is a function of output, not input.
